.: Sigmund Freud in House :.

Have any of you guy's ever watch the tv show called House M.D? Yes? No? Anyway, it's an interesting show with an interesting take on solving mystery.

Instead of solving crimes or looking for aliens and other cuckoo stuff like time travelling or different dimension.
Here, the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one and wouldn't even talk to his patient if he could get away with it.

Now that I'm done with the introduction. This shows is really quirky and funny and in a way it gets u thinking alot out of the box. How's this for out of the box:-

Everyone knows that S&M stands for Sadism & Masochism, where scientifically explained, sadism is the sexual pleasure or gratification in the infliction of pain and suffering upon another person.
The counterpart of sadism is masochism, the sexual pleasure or gratification of having pain or suffering inflicted upon the self.

To be honest and blunt, I typically associate sadomasochism with words such as weirdo or perhaps freak. However one of the character in the show actually stated that it is not about the pleasure or the pain but instead it is about having complete and total trust in your partner that you would expose yourself and make yourself completely vulnerable.

Nuts? You tell me..but the theory doesn't seem that far-fetched does it? I'm just using this as an example of how this show often challenges it's viewer with idea's that are out of the ordinary.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know i know..i didn't write no nothing about Sigmund Freud or his theory in this blog. It's just that one of Freud's theory popped out in the show and it really got me intrigued; hence the title. In order to have a semblance of conformity between the title and the post. Here's Sigmund Freud for you.

.: English is a Hard Language to Learn :.

In response to Sandy buying herself books entitled "Weird and Wonderful Words" and "More Weird and Wonderful Words".. Here's an example of weird and err..not so wonderful words..

Two individuals proceeded towards the apex of a natural geologic protuberance. The purpose of their expedition being the procurement of a sample of fluid hydride of oxygen in a large vessel, the exact size of which was unspecified.

One member of the team precipitously descended, sustaining severe damage to the upper cranial portion of his anatomical structure; Subsequently the second member of the team performed a self rotational translation oriented in the same direction taken by the first team member.

Highlight the text below to find out what it is in plain boring simple English :

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after!!!!

.: The Railways Over The Alps :.

Between Austria and Italy, there is a section of the Alps called the Semmering.
It is an impossibly steep, very high part of the mountains.

It was said that in a time long ago.. they built a train track over these Alps to connect Vienna and Venice. They built these tracks even before there was a train in existence that could make the trip.

They built it because they knew some day, the train would come.
